Great looking wash out.Nice variety of finds,so what do think the colorful hockey pucked shaped piece is?looks like a biscuit discoidal IMO?thx for the look dude!

Thanks, it's got the ground and polished sides and heavily ground bottom, Discoidal or mano / grinding stone is my guess, material is quartz. It's actually pretty nice but the pics do it no justice.

It's either buffalo or horse or cow, there's other large animal bones and teeth nearby, if your offended I can pull those pics?

Nice looking country. Almost looks glacial along those ridges. Nice finds Thirty7.

I brought home one of the bone sharpening stones because it was worked or shaped around the sides and the material is greenstone. I think it had another purpose like platform or something? Those two pieces have X's etched on them. The trigger awl has some polish and damage unfortunately. Oldest point is a Hardaway or possibly a greenbrier with a chisel tip. The other piece of hardstone has some pecking and polishing, not sure what it is, maybe preform. I forgot to picture the hardstone piece in the in-situ and a possible deer tinkler I think. JMO

Appreciate the comments folks, HH.

if this is a picture heavy post. please give us more picture heavy posts! that is the way i like them! love that trigger awl and mixed bag of artifacts! what big bone i did not see it? is that a old fire break or just a wash out? who needs to have a damage free artifact to enjoy it in a post? Terry

Pic heavy, sorry...

Apologizing for too many pics???? You must have been out in the sun for more than 3 hours.....
