Good luck on catching them! You are always posting nice artifacts.

Treefrog, Judging by the pictures since youve started this one, your still in the meat of the site. Cool, I've enjoyed watching how it's unfolded. Trespasser hunting can be fun too.!!
In Texas the large landowners and ranches arn't real forgiving about uninvited guests and when you mix that with stealing from your personal dig that's a mortal sin. I like the camera idea, but you need to find out from where the parked, and made their way there. Getting that tag # is primo. Good luck and thanks for the postings. Lone Star

Very nice finds man ,as usual...love the kirk corner notch, looks sharp with those killer barbs, nice blade/preform too!

thx all for the comments, I am still out front of the shelter digging towards the front of the shelter. I am in 5-6 ft of dirt and will be in 10-12 ft of dirt when I am under the overhang front. I am really hoping to see some really cool stuff once I am under the overhang. it has been dug around in for years, but no one has ever been down as far as I will be when I get the dirt removed from in front of it. I can dig at the lower level and let the top dirt fall as I go.

Nice artifacts as always from that shelter. Those pestle are really great. Look forward to your next post!! Thanks for digging!

I always dig the complete opposite, usually because someone else has gotten to the inside of the shelter,I just go deeper till I hit clay just as you are doing ,I have most of my shelters dug out from the overhang 10 feet or so,you should find a higher concentration of artifacts the deeper you get into the shelter overhang...keep it up man.(i know i know ,how could you not?)
