I had some good luck last Saturday when I decided to check out a beach about 35 minutes from here. :) I figured I would share some pics.

The whole bunch, plus an odd little flint node I think on the lower right.

The largest 3.

I was on my way out when I found the largest one. It was just inches from the pavement as I was walking back to the car. Luckily I still had my eyes on the rocks. :)

Very nice agates, ever considered having some of them cabochon cut?? ;D

Real nice material , a big enough piece of that could make a real nice arrowhead.
Yes it could. I do find a lot of various jasper/flint pieces too. Though mostly too small. I don't keep all the flint I see or I'd fill my bags with it. :)

I'm glad you like them. Not sure yet what I'll do with these ones. I do eventually want to get a good setup to cabochon cut some of my smaller pieces. I am currently (and for quite some time) running a rock tumbler on my first batch. I am learning that it would have really helped speed things along if I would have pre-shaped some of the rocks.

Nah, tumbling does take time, especially the rough stages.

Although preforming them on a cabbing machine could be made as to give up some interesting shapes when done. ;D
