Good thing I can find rocks I'd never make it as a fottygraffer!!

Those are super pieces a better pic would b nice !!!

got some good ones there, thanks for sharing

It's ok I am too I can take some of the best crappy pictures haha

I think they came out well and recognize many. I think I saw some bottle necks in there. You do not see them very often. Thanks for sharing it is always nice to see points that are found close to the area you are. Is the 4th frame Tn or Ala?

I dont get to see to much Ala artifacts even though I am close. Id like to see some clear pics if you can. I like to study the colors of the lithic. I have some that might be Ala after almost seeing your pieces.

I find some of that same type of stone here in GA. You ever find any black and brown swirl flint made into artifacts?

Rock, what part of Jawja are you in? I lived in and hunted Ga for many years. Oconee river from Athens to Altamaha. Ocmulgee from Jackson to Telfair and 100 mile radius of Macon. I've got a large hoe from Houston county they say material was from Ohio. And native copper from the Oconee. So they got around more than most think. Steatite bowl pieces from Liberty county I think closest source is Decatur Ga.arrowheads 087.jpgHoe from Houston county.

Im in the N GA section. Drive west an hour and ur in Ala, Drive north an hour and ur in TN. Im rite next door to the Etowah river but dont hunt it. I only hunt a few creeks and fields that I have permission to hunt. Allot of Rangers hanging around this area lately. I know its hunting season but I have seen them in places where people dont hunt. What area are you in as to how close to GA?

Huntsville Ala. I've poked around Cartersville a little. ANd Lake Alatoona when water was down. Found a few points around Tate GA. Had a freind in macon who had some nice stuff from Etowah river area, Pots, copper bracelets Etc. found in the 60s. Got some connections in Blairsville would like to check them out this spring.

Rocket City. I hunt above you mostly. We used to have a few others that hunted around Huntsville and did well. Thanks for showing.

Yes the Rangers will need to be carefull this year. I've allways wanted a Ranger Scalp to add to my collection. It gaules me to no end that its ok for a bulldozier and dirt pan to completely destroy a site but its against THEIR LAW To rescue an artifact. On occasion I'll carry a few modern reproduction arrows in my pocket in hope that I will be caught. Then when it gets to court, well wont they feel STUPID!!! I SUGGEST WE ALL TRY THIS. And maybe they'll slack off.
