Good points man,I love deep digs like that,but they can be a pain as I run into alot of rocks and roots,as alot of the time im digging under other peoples sifts into virgin ground as it looks like your doing...good work man,I went out sat. for an hour and a half(could NOT take the heat) to the field and my shirt was sweat soaked,out of luck,on the way out of the field, I found a Madison point in which made it all worth it..keep it up :headbang:
 

hey tree,,just started diggin this year,,on a good site,,what tools do you recommend,,i've been using a small shovel,screwdriver,and putty knife,,seems like if you don't go real slow you will damage the artifacts,tried plastic trowl didn't hold=up very well,,,thanx,,by the way great finds,,they all pretty much the same materiel
