Found these things on a house place shown on a 1905 map. Number 6 and 12 were already posted earlier, but got a few more things. Any comments welcome.
1 and 2 are hammered lead. 3 a lead grommet. 4 a fired 36 caliber pistol ball. 5 a fired Williams cleaner. 6 a fired probable CSA three ring. 7 is a Union Eagle I button, but the condition does make it convincing. It got disc plow damaged. 8 is probably a brass trouser button. 9 and 10 unknowns. 11 a gilt button plain with illegible back mark. 12 is a cuff or hat Eagle button Schovill 845 used by both sides (Relicman). 13 an 1881 Rogers embossed flatware handle. 14 unknown, maybe pocket knife piece. 15 unknown. 16 1905 Indian Head penny with terrible condition. Sorry I missed this post before, 'I may be late but Ill most likely see them eventually.'
Buttons Rule , Lead Grommet is nice, 1905 IH = Sweetness My Grandfarthers Birth year .
I just bought another 1905 IH at the Coin shop yesterday. Told the guy Ill have a Roll of them Soon ; along with everything 1923 & 1951 & well 1946 'For my Step-Dad's Birth Year.
