Got out to play today and its been awhile, found a couple of 89th regiment buttons and one I don't have a 56th regiment, they are in rough shape, they date from the rebellion period of the 1830's, also found a 1867 shield nickel and a few balls and buckles. It was just nice to get out into the field and swing the coil. Its always nice to add a couple to the collection. Thanks for looking. DSC01478 (640x427).jpgDSC01479 (640x427).jpg

You got alot of nice finds there...Looks like you got a nice place to detect!

You must be hunting in Canada. I found same the pewter 89th buttons and chin strap plates in Antigua many years ago. Very cool relics. Might find some neat insignia there.

Sweeeet buttons are those US or British?

Very nice hunt indeed!
