a few military buttons and a nickel

Got out to play today and its been awhile, found a couple of 89th regiment buttons and one I don't have a 56th regiment, they are in rough shape, they date from the rebellion period of the 1830's, also found a 1867 shield nickel and a few balls and buckles. It was just nice to get out into the field and swing the coil. Its always nice to add a couple to the collection. Thanks for looking.

You must be hunting in Canada. I found same the pewter 89th buttons and chin strap plates in Antigua many years ago. Very cool relics. Might find some neat insignia there.
