Hi all, been hard getting out with the heat, and grown up fields this time of year.
Managed to get out for a couple hours thismorning, found a small mowed strip along a little stream adjoined to a field we have permission for. Didnt have very high hopes but I played hookie from work today so I figured anywhere low enough to swing was fine by me.
Found a few old things. Not sure of the item with a name on it, thought maybe a token of somekind but there is only the name on it, nothing else. Found a smashed civil war eagle infantry button. And the small coin I believed was going to be a half cent, but when I cleaned it up I was surprised. Seems it's a "Jetton" from prussia! It has no year on it, but the king on it ruled from like the 1770s till 1830 or so. I found a couple images of jettons on the internet of this variety, but none exactly the same as mine. Only the abbreviations of his name are different. Pretty unique find none the less.
