So this is this stuff I've found over the last 3 or 4 times out. Civil war items include 2 Minies, 3 fired musket balls, 2 cannister shots, a belt clip, and possibly the horse shoes and other iron stuff. The pocket knife may be as well. Found a rough 1900 V nickel tonight. Details are fairly worn off. Found a pretty complete old cow bell, lots of shotgun shell caps as usual, a few buttons, and some UBO's ( Unidentified buried objects). Not too bad, but pretty disappointing considering the areas I was in that were supposedly encampments. Have lots of new places to hit though so stay tuned. Oh, and I guess I found a hotrod relic cause that one close up says GTO on that cap, whatever the heck that is.
