Here are my finds from two yards and two farm fields recently. Still waiting for the farm fields to get plowed.
I gave the property owners most of what I found. The first yard at an 1865 house yielded 1887 and 1892 IHPs, a silver 1952 Rosie, a coal miners tag (the home owner is a coal miner, so he liked that), a child's ring, a USMC collar insignia, and other misc. items. I kept the 1892 IHP and the insignia. I kept a 1902 IHP from the second yard. The fields gave up a well worn KG III, some buttons, a cuff link, and a small arrowhead with the tip broken off. Nothing to write home about, but at least I got some excercise.
