I just knew the watch was going to be whole but just the cover.

Doug thanks my friend. Its been a rough few days. ANd being in a small town every time i get out of the house i get a barrage of people asking me if im ok. I think ill start wearing my grey ghosts into the grocery store. Cant wait untill it cools off to do some real diggin!

a bullet that was pulled from he muzzel of a musket due to misfire, surrender, etc. They used what was called a bullet worm. basically a jag that attatched to the end of a ramrod that would thread down into the nose of the bullet so i could be pulled out.

Nice looking finds! the watchcover held up great,
congrats on the pulled slug !
I find it strange that the Chinese brass are so underrated, I got a couple ChienLungs
1700s and hardly worth their scrap weight
