I got out the other day to do some back therapy. Basically it was a tough few hours in the field.
So here it is short and sweet.
Penny the seamstress steered herself to makeup.
Here's Penny:

Penny was a seamstress with tiny fingers.
This is my smallest thimble to date.
It will get a new home in the display case.

The steering wheel.
Actually I think it might be the balance wheel out of a clock.

She got some really fancy makeup

Great finds.

Great recoveries from an iron patch! Looks like your settings are working well. That tiny thimble is pretty wild!

Thanks oldmxrat
It's a tiny one, that earned a spot in the display cabinet.

Nice post- well done! Excellent finds as well...

I repurposed a makeup tin I had found by putting some cotton inside and used it for silvers and older coins freshly dug to keep them away from clad in my pouch. Congrats!

That a cool idea.
I don't much have to worry about that, as the silvers are as plentiful as hen's teeth.
