I found these bottles probing in the river. Nothing great but still some keepers. The California fig syrup bottle is a machine made bottle and probally around the 1920's era. The aqua bottle is a 1870's early 1880's medicine. The last bottle on the right is a blown turn of the century (which I think is a medicine). As you can see it still is corked and has the original contents in it. I left it out side since the weekend and it has been below freezing and has not broke or had any ice in it so it must have a high alcohol content.
One warning about keeping bottles that have the contents still in them as with this bottle it is not embossed so I don't know what the liquid inside is. You never know it could be poison so I don't suggest keeping them because when the cork dries out the seal will be opened. That's why I have it outside until I figure out what I want to do with it.
