About 1955 I was a young airman stationed at Smokey Hill AFB,Salina,Ks.Every wknd 6 or 7 of us would go to KC to Wildwood Lakes where you could swim and they had an open pavillon there for dancing. They had all the top recording people there each wknd. This one wknd, when we walked in,the De Castro Sisters were seated at a table and the local DJ's were interviewing them.Jukebox playing in the background.Babette, the youngest sister looked really bored so ,as any young airman would do,I walked around the table and asked her if she would like to dance.Up and in my arms she came and she thanked me over and over again for getting her away.I don't remember how many dances we had but it was great. And that is why I have always had a spot for this song.Enjoy
