One of the clubs we belong to came over from Tulsa to do a bit of dirt diggin at a local oil boom town. There were some coins found by others along with a LOT of iron. MG had the camera so let her take the photos.

Looks like a good time was had by all. Good seeing you and MG back out swinging a coil. Keep posting those finds.

It is fun going on a hunt with the club. I am also a member of that club and know most of the members. Wally Dick didn't find the B. quarter did he? I saw him in the pix.

Les, no it wasn't Wally. It seems like the guy's name was Rick. Wally found several coins including an early merc. but we couldn't tell the date til he's cleaned it.

Looks like there was a few of you. Hope al had a good time and nice B quarter...Matt

Les, if the mans name is not Rick I apolgize I think that is what Wally said when he called him over to the truck to show it to us! Why were you not there? ;D

Great pics, Evy! 8) You got Stoney on a diet? :icon_king:

Congrats on those finds, Stoney! Super bottle too, Evy!! :icon_pirat:

Hope ya'll get to go back to that site! Looks like a good one~

Nana

If that's you in the second picture, I've got to tell you that that is one outstanding beard. I don't mean to interrupt the topic flow here, but man. I would totally grow a beard like that if I could...my job wouldn't like that I'd bet. You must drink Dos Equis...yes?

Nice finds, too! HH!

LOL, well thank you. No Dos Equis, just the occasional Tecate or Corona depending on how much clad I find on the weekend to pay for the lime.

I just about flipped out when I see that the date was 1894-s,but then I seen that it was a quarter
instead of a B-dime.But,it looks like you-al had a good time and a great hunt.Congrats
