Went out today to get in a hunt before we get the 8" of snow they are talking about hits. Decide to go to a neighborhood park that I have passed by hundreds of times. I figured that it has been hunted before but I think I am changing my mind about that. In many places the ground was frozen rock hard so I had to pass on digging some good signals and did not dig any iffys at all. Found clad only in coins but the park is borderline old enough that there may be silver there. I only was able to hit a very small area of it. I found 9 quarters, 12 dimes, 6 nickles and 20 memorials. I also found a British penny! I found a dog choke chain...so the dog is gone :D he must of got away to chase the little golden color cat I found as well. Found a spoon as well.

Not a bad day ! Sometimes those chains appear by being" bitten by the kitten" ..if ya know what I'm sayin ???

Definitely a good hunt! At least you could get out!

Glad to see you got out, Tony. By watching the weather from here, Clarkesvill, TN. it looks like you won't be out any time soon. Nice finds though for a mid-winter hunt. Ron

Looks like a pretty good park to hit this spring. You did alright on your finds. I just waiting for the spring so I can get out....Matt
