This is the most silver I've found in one hunt in quite a long time now.
Although I've found a good handfull of older stuff this year, it's few and far between that I get more than 1 or 2 silver coins in a single hunt.
I hit a site today that showed an old homestead, on the old atlas of my area.
There's nothing there now except woods.
I detected for about 2 hours, and found this stuff.
First was the 23 Merc, 2nd was the Walker, then the 64 Rosie, war nickel, and the last good find was the 17 Merc. I also found about 15 wheats, and the .925 Earing.
Everything was between 5-8 inches down.
Thanks for lookin'. TBK.

Oh, a guy who I met who lives across the street, told me that he recalled occasionally seeing people detect this area, every once in a while, for over 30 years. Not sure if that's true or not, but I found all these coins in an area less than 50x50 feet. It would seem very unlikely that they could have missed so much.
