Got a few hours in this morning on our permission property. Had to get out early because of the temps going to 97 by noon here in AL. Dug a few items that I need some help with. First is a solid piece of metal that looks hand cut (you can see in the curve).

The next is a button I found under a root about 8 inches down. It is a two piece round ball type with a shank on the back. You can see there was gold gilt on it and what looks like a S and T on the back. Also what may be a 6 or 9.

Wondering what type and age range.

Last is a piece that I thought was a bottle top until I got it out of the dirt. It is heavy and has what looks like plaster or hard clay on the back. Though maybe it was a door pull or something. Any suggestions would help.

Thanks for the look!

The last item is the lead back off a 19th century civilian rosette. As for the other brass item, someone here should be able to help. HH and Gl.

Thank you DiggerKid! May go out and search for the front!

Don't know about the first 2 but the last object is a bridal rosette.

Item 1 is part of the guts of a mortise lock.

Thanks DCMatt! That's interesting considering we have found several door hinges and door/window parts in the same field. Probably a structure there at some point. Going to hit that place hard! Thanks again everyone for the help!
