Hello,

I've searched and searched and can't identify what this inherited ornament is. If it helps, the metal base has an 'R' for registered trademark and what looks like a sheep or goat logo (I can't get a decent image of the base so I've had to resort to words alone). I would also guess it was bought in the UK in the late 80s/early 90s.

Other than that, all help would be very appreciated.

Thanks. IMG_1863.JPGIMG_1864.JPGIMG_1865.JPGIMG_1866.JPG

I think I'm getting close with these Swarovski trimlite figurines I'm finding on line. Not sure it's what you have, but could be a piece made to compete with Swarovski? I did find they mark some of their items with a swan, but goat, idk ??. The metal looks like Pewter IMO.

There was a place in Greenville SC in the 70's called The World Bazar. They sold odd items from everywhere. I remember a display with metal/glass things, including animals. Tony

Thanks all. I didn't want to write the word "Swarovski", to try not to "lead the witness" but that was my first guess as it came from a collection of Swarovski ornaments (but it definitely doesn't have the swan or "square" logo of their items). My other guess after looking yesterday was whether it was Disney related, as I found a similar Disney ornament (although can't see how the logo relates to Disney) so started to think it could be Thumper or the white rabbit out of Alice in Wonderland.

I've taken a few more photos, including one of the logo in the hope that it triggers something in someone passing.

Thanks again.

Am I seeing it right that he has only one front tooth? If so I'd say you were correct in thinking Thumper.

Thanks. Yes, you're right, it is a single front tooth so that could be a good clue. I'm still not convinced that it's Disney as I'd expect a more obvious logo (unless they'd licensed the trademark as they seem to have done for Swarovski at some point). I've also spent some minutes comparing the ornament with images of Thumper and although it's probably not very easy to render a colourful 2d cartoon in monochrome crystal had metal, it still doesn't seem a great likeness.

The mystery continues...
