The boy and I got a new permission the other day. It was an abandoned house and the owners kid moved in planning on fixing it up. My kid had already hit the yard a couple months ago for a quick short hunt and found a handful of wheats and 5 IH's. No silver though.
We got permission late in the evening and with a light rain coming down. We each found a handful of wheats and I got a 59 Rosie before it started pouring.
We went back the next morning and my first hit for the day was a 48 Washington. We each got a couple more wheats and the kid got a no date buffalo and a 1892 IH.
I also found a little toy cannon and a little knife, the knife looked silver. I tried cleaning it up but, it fell apart. The inside of the handles weren't marked?
Found another brass piece, not sure what it is. The boy and I thought it looked like a smashed Crotal bell?
