two more items out of my 1830's site, the first i think is part of a fire striker and the second is the size of a lock plate i was wondering if it was the other side of the gun or something completely different
 

I don’t think either is a gun part, the bottom one with the holes in it looks like a knife handle with the blade snapped off.

The flat hook looks like the tip of a broken hame hook, and I agree with Joe on the knife theory.

sorry it was probably deceiving posting them without a scale the hook is fairly small, my only id is coming off this pic,

as far as the other i knife handle would be a good thought but it seems too thin to be of any use in a knife

as far as a cooking hook goes ive also found this item which i suspect might have been modified for that purpose
