A couple of unidentified objects

All Treasure Hunting
After renewing my spark in artifact hunting, I went back through some of my old finds. I'd appreciate some help in identifing these two objects. While I suspect the one on the left is a geofact, I do harbor hope. The one on the right most certainly apprears to be human made but I wonder if anyone has any idea if it would be native or later than that. Maybe even not really that old. Thanks in advance for all input!

The small piece looks like part of a broken handle from some kind of crock (pot). Tony

The upper righthand circular object is certainly man-made and is commonly referred to as a quarter...can't read the date...

All kidding aside, the ID would be benefitted by larger pictures...

click your left mouse button over the pictures and they magically appear larger.
