A couple of oddities for the day

I spent a few hours out detecting and came up with a few unknowns. Though I did find another silver thimble and a sweet 1917-D wheaty, the other finds are drawing blanks in my book.

I have an idea on the odd shaped piece. Maybe a bracket from a toy gun. Barrel, stock, and sling loop?

That top thing is a barrel band with a built in sling holder. Toy or not? It doesn't look like it has been off the gun long, not enough rust and corrosion. Maybe from a reproduction muzzle loader? On second thought, maybe not a muzzle loader since the sling thing would block the ramrod. That would make it one of the 45/100 Straight wall class cartridges and a single shot if it isn't a toy. The gun strap thinghy looks to be made of cast 'pot metal' which would probably not be used on a real rifle as it is not a strong material.

Got to love that silver though. Good job!
