My wife stops occasionally at a very small second hand store. Here are two purchases she made last week that I thought she did exceedingly well on. The first is a pair of Red Wing work boots, size 14. Almost new for $3.00. These should last me a couple years.
The second is a very large roll of paper. She paid $5.00 for it. The paper is 17 inches wide and there are 28,000 lineal feet of it on the roll. The roll is just over 40 inches wide and weighs 624 pounds. They used a forklift to get it into the back of our dodge caravan. I am rolling it into easy to handle 10 pound rolls. Its great for shipping filler and wrapping items for/at garage sales and flea markets. No more ink stained hands and clothes. It should last us a few years and I can store it in the barn so its not in my way.
