I have hunted this area a few miles from my house
sense November of 2007.

It is across the high way from a Civil War Yankee camp
site. But that area is developed to the point it is almost
impossible to hunt.

The first time I went there I found 2 mini balls with in
10 minutes.

I thought that it was going to be just full of relics.

WRONG!

I’ve hunted there extensively and have found some
good finds, but not like I expected.

Here’s an old solid brass horse sash buckle and part
of an old iron I found there before.

They are developing this area now. I am trying to take
advantage of what time is left to hunt it.

They moved some dirt piles which gave me a chance
to hunt where I have not been able to before.

This is my total haul for this morning.

This after I cleaned some of my finds a little with water
and a tooth brush.

Along with my two mini balls is a nickel silver spoon,
part of an old toy pistol and some ones old chain door
lock.

Don’t know what that threaded thing is. Could that be
a cannon prick hole?????

Here’s a close up of my two new mini balls.

Great finds..sorry i haven't replied to your question. I live in Fayetteville and I try to stay in the woods hunting old house places or civil war campsites. Lots of great places to hunt here, but there are also alot of hunters.

Hay Recycler,

I answered your whatzit post.

That's a cistern you found.

Don't know anything about the mountain.

That's close to me.

Lets go hunt it sometime.

I'm a dissabled surveyor

in Bryant.

Happy Hunting,
