The one on the left is: 101

Manufacturer Unknown, maybe Slaymaker
Materials used Alloy case, steel shackle, steel panels
Size 1 1/2"x2 1/4"x3/4"
Dates Mid 1940's
Type of Keyway Flat Steel
Operating Mechanism 3 wards, spring latch
Approx Value $3.00

General Notes: This little guy is a WWII copy of the Yale hermetically sealed padlocks. Painted to give it the appearance of a brass case.

The other one is a modernday Yale lock found at a number of locksmith shops.

Lockman... you may not realize how fast you made a name for yourself, and are now relied upon for these quick IDs... You may never be allowed to leave TreasureNet!

:D

Good job.

Yeah, the guy is good (thanks for my lock ID's). Wonderful how much knowledge congregates on these boards ! Without them, we would just have "old stuff".
