A couple of items found at an old home site

Anybody have an idea on these two items found at an 1850's homesite. The little rectangular piece appears to be brass. The other silver.

The silvery looking thing looks like the end from a car aerial, the bit that goes into the radio.

i'd say that was the tip off a metal chair leg...

oh...missed the second piece...it is a fuze for a mid 80's ford...just took one off my 84 F-15...mounts between the battery and the solinoid.

The silver thing is a bit flimsy for a chair leg but it does look a little like one. Brand new one if it is, no wear on the end. The other pieces is square like a fusable link and has holes on each end. The holes are vey small for a car voltage type connector. PWP, what is the wire loop for? kind looks like a keychain loop.
