Detector(s) used
Whites and Garrett. I use several machines, the ace 350 is a nice machine. I have a 5900, 6000, whites.
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
I got back out today, it was a nice sunny day. The buttons are early, they came from the trading post site that is across the road from where I found the trade silver peace. The site has been detected for over ten years, there are still the odd find left. The little square item in my hand I am not sure of its age, it could be 1812 or the 1850s time period. The military camped out in this area in 1812 & 1850s, I did find a 1858 Canadian dime on top of the ground once. The peace of glass is a very dark amber, most peaces like this I find are dark green, I wish I had the whole bottle. I hope to get back out again soon, the crops are late coming off this fall. NT
