A copper looking tube

I found this today, it's heavy and looks like a container of some kind. The button was in the same area, I assume it's nothing special. Any ideas? Match holder?

I haven't been able to get it open, i didn't want to damage it...i'll try electrolysis this evening, maybe it will open then. It was a unique find for me - wish i knew what it was.

If a match safe, lipstick tube or needle case it might be a screw on type or maybe a twist type of open.Not just pull apart?Can't wait till you get it open I'm curious as to what it is also.

I ran the tube and button thru a electrolysis cycle and cleaned them. I got the end off the tube only to find something else
Inside that. I'll work on it some more tomorrow, the suspense has been killing me.
