Hiii everybody! *waves awkwardly*
My name is Jon and I am just getting into the life-style of metal detecting. I'm at the ripe age of 21. I have been a video gamer since I was 9. It is beginning to bore me a bit. Being cooped up in a house all the time, so I am looking broaden my horizons and try something new. I have always loved finding stuff things for some reason. I suppose its the thrill of where/what it might be. The first time I used a metal detector was to find my aluminium shaft arrows that I lost in the ground (long story short we saw them vanish). It was thrilling because not only did we find the arrows, but we also found random items in the process (old aluminium antenna, aluminium can, old piece of a metal ball [never did find out what it was]) come to think of it anything you find in the ground will look old. So since I do not know anything about metal detecting, the terminology, or even how to use a metal detector. I started learning and looked to buy one for myself. I can not seem to keep my eyes off of the White's MXT E-Series. Every time I look around towards a lower end metal detector I find myself thinking about a MXT. I could care less about the discrimination, all I want is penetration. I want to be able to find as much as I can. I just like digging in the dirt to see what could be found next. I happened upon this forum looking for an answer to my question which, thankfully, was answered. The question: What is the difference between White's Bullseye 140mm Metal Detector Pointer and the NEW 120mm. The answer isn't only that one is 20mm longer and is a different color, people can keep going for the 60$-140$ Bullseye II while I'll get mine Bullseye I for only 40$. =^.^= Well I am finished wasting your time, if you have any questions please ask!
Edited for spelling error/grammar.
