After 60 degree weather yesterday today it is around 34 degrees here in N.J. IMG_0025.JPGIMG_0029.JPGand very windy. Detected for about an hour anyway around a farmhouse at the edge of town. Was able to find 3 wheat cents (1944-1958-1958D), a Slaymaker-Rustless padlock circa 1950s, and an old brass tin box with the image of the Medal of the Immaculate Conception on top. It reads OH MARY CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN PRAY FOR US WHO HAVE RECOURSE FOR THEE 1830. If anyone knows anything about it as far as use or age would very much appreciate the info. Thanks!

Very interesting finds! The medal box is cool, perhaps it originally contained Rosary Beads.

Great to hear that you got out. The case most probably contained one of these

Saturday was beautiful in Ohio, high 40's, but the cold came in on Sunday. We are in the freezer for now. Going to take the batteries out and clean the detectors tonight. :crybaby2:
