A Cold Day's Hot FINDS, and a FIRST
Woke up this morning to find myself staring at a 27 Degree Temp with 30 MPH Gust. I was off today for the Holiday (Thank You Veterans for our Freedom to enjoy things like this, Metal Detecting). I went to a spot I have been to before, but I was unable to to dig because of the high grass, but not today . I dug a '57 Rosie and a few wheat's after a short while and got another hit that proved to be my very first Vintage Sterling Silver Thimble, it was marked on the inside with a Huge "S", which stands for Simons Brothers, outside it was marked Sterling #9.
Before heading home, I got a penny type of signal fairly deep, so I dug it. glad I did because it turned out to be a really awesome 1872 Great Britain Prince Of Wales Model Half Sovn Victoria Dei Gratia Gaming Token (Such a Long Name ), LOL..... which I promptly placed in my CoinTote
Here are the pics from today's finds, Thanks for looking, DirtDiga...
