Well as luck would have it the brick house got rented , So I decided to got back to the site that had 20 ft trees growing in the rock foundation. This would be my 4th time and I came well armed with a better digging tool & my new whites bullseye pinpointer!. The blackflies & mosquito's were vicious and as usual my time was limited to about an hour before dark. After about my 5th 22 shell I finally got a good solid signal and dug this up ( see pic)I have no idea what it is but I was hoping it was a clue for me not to give up on this place , any ideas??? Thanks in advance

Is it bent in half? Can you open it? Is it silver or copper?
