I only had two and a half hours to work my favorite beach, and the targets were plentiful. Sadly, though, they weren't particularly special. All of the finds were from an area roughly 50-60 yards long, so this was clearly where mother nature liked to empty her pockets. Despite finding coins from the 1940's to the present, I didn't manage any silver coins this trip . I did get four wheat pennies (1941, 1945, 1954, & 1956) and one nickel from 1946, and a bunch of modern quarters, so I was surprised I wasn't finding any silver coins. I managed to salvage one tiny silver (marked 925) toe ring, which cleaned up nicely, so I guess the trip wasn't a total failure! At any rate, it was a beautiful day at the beach! Thanks for looking and may your next hunt bring you something wonderful!
