Yea local parks and playground
Look very thin. Not many visitors
And quite a few folk with NO coins on
Their person.

I seem to find a lot more quarters on the surface than anything else. It's almost like people can't be bothered carrying pennies, nickels and dimes around any more.

Which is why we need to eliminate the penny and Nickel.
And spend halves and dollars

As I've said before--------------------------I'm old school, cash only guy. CC for making reservations or online purchases which are few.
Lets get rid of the 1 cent coins first and then work in the nickel elimination later.:happysmiley:

its all good.....they didnt used to pierce everything either, and all those are keepers.my beef is when rap ends, and it is ending.I love the bling those idiots wear.

I'm trying to get those "lost" coins back in circulation as fast as I can...I detest having to give part of my hard earned money, wether found or worked for to others just because I use it.

Where I am using my debit card 995 of the time there would be no need cash as I doubt they will ever allow detecting inside malls ect.....

Its not where you spend it.
Its about having coins on your
Person.the idea is if folks
Always pay card they will
Not have coin on them
If you go to store and pay cash
Then might have coin on you
On Tues when you visit beach

personally I hate finding modern change as a relic hunter and if I'm finding it then my site is "infected" :tongue3:

Why is the government wasting OUR money by still minting 7 BILLION cents a year? I think we have enough cents to go around for a few decades, even if we stopped minting them tomorrow!

I always carry coins even with debit cards. Clad today is worth very little....

They are not going cashless in the right neighborhoods. The problem is they are risky places to hunt and full of trash.

Most of the people who still spend cash you can find at public pools, school events, events in the park, church, etc.

I know some hunters who love detecting and yet
Are cutting own throat. If you are a techie and love
Paying electronically on every transaction soon there
Will
Be no coins to find. Help this hobby survive.spend more cash.
And while your at it take someone to a park for non detecting
Recreation

Maybe a detector to find those plastic debit cards will be next for development!;D

(Scrounger forgot the most important part ....)

Pick 'em up by their ankles and swing in a circle. This distributes the change over a wider area, but if you want a spill, just shake 'em instead of swinging.

The coins that I want have been lost for years.
