A car part?

I found this in the middle of a park. I guess its possible that it came off a car because it looks like a car part. It is extremely reflective and that object you see in the middle of it is the reflection of a light on the ceiling. Here are some pictures of it compared to a quarter.

Looks like it could be a bicycle license plate holder for one of those small license plates you used to get out of cereal boxes. Just a guess. Hope you find out.

I doesnt look like a car part to me. Looks more like a chromed steel piece from a modern toaster oven. Maybe an access panel to a larger appliance. Definitely something modern and most likely worthless.

Thanks for all the replies, and yes the strap is removable if you unscrew the screws on the front

Didnt someone find something like this not long ago and it was some type of a shaving heater.....

Going with STICKSBOARDS. Makes sense especially being found in a park.

Go back to the park to see if water fountain access panel is missing and return it. Even though it resembles a hot dog cart sauerkraut cover, it appears to be an access panel. The screws can be tightened and the bracket will catch and hold on the backside.
