Went out to a couple of TS's today, bought this and just HAD to share it. NOT sure if its real, or exactly what its of, but...... I found this painting that measures 48'' x 48'', and on the lower right it has the names Laura & Michael Allred. I've spent about 2 hours today searching the internet for anything that would tell me that this is indeed from THE Laura & Michael Allred, but can't find much of anything. I do know that if its real, that his original art asks a good price tag. Cool piece either way!!

::::UPDATE:::: Michael Allred got back with me via Twitter. I basically just posted the same pictures I did on here and asked if that was his and Laura's art. He responded: "YUP! We did this shortly after we met (been together from the first moment we met eyes) a looong time ago. CRAZY." Then he tweeted again saying "Barely remember doing this ancient artifact, but that's fer sure my old signature."

Talking about making my day....man oh man that's cool. I still wonder what the painting is of or what they may have been working on at the time. Maybe I'll let the smoke clear and bug him again in a few days or weeks.
