A BUNCH OF BUTTONS, GEORGE II TURNED INTO BUZZER TOY, AND A KEY PLATE!

Today I was metal detecting at the same place where I found the monogramed silver shoe buckle. I was looking for the other piece of the shoe buckle, I didn't find it, but I ended up find a lot colonial items. Including 7 buttons (I found 6, and another family member found 1), a musketball, and a King George II Halfpenny converted into a buzzer toy (Personally I think it is cooler than a normal King George II Halfpenny). On button still has some fibers in the shank, another has a flower design, and another button, a two piece button, also has a design) My sister (WheatCent, which is her name on Tnet) found this beautiful Edwardian Era Gilded Brooch.

I almost forgot, I also found half of an extremely rare variety of "Townshend's Sarseparilla" from the Mid-1800's, I can not find this anywhere variety online!

The Edwardian Brooch is a very cool find, the brass spigot in the Rikers display is an amazing find too!

Great finds! The 'toy' you found wouldn't make a noise when twirled. They had to be serrated to do that.
