it was a hard hunt yesterday but a few things were found. My wife found the no date buff which was very toasted and I found the IH which I guess is a 1903. The token was pretty wasted but I could see a couple of letters, believe it was an Oklahoma tax token. The 30 carbine round and 30-06 brass were found near the WWII site. The U shaped thing was originally a lead sheet and rolled up into this shape and was covered in old brittle electrician tape. The little "whatzit" has a 20 in the center of it, the shaft is splined. I don't think that I have ever hunted this site without finding at least a couple shotgun headstamps. the usual bullets, pull tabs/rings and some iron. but any day with an IH and or a Buff is a good day. :icon_thumright:

Nice old coin shooting!

Congrats on some nice coin finds! I haven’t seen a buff or an ihp in a long time...

Nice finds! You found my coin wish list for 2018!

Super hunt! the Whatsit, may be an end cap to an old 20 amp fuse. :icon_thumleft:

were the fuses splined like that? it does appear to have had something crimped on the end of it.

Washers get us all. Nice coin recov.

the washer looking thing is actually a tax token, it had only about four letters that you see, the rest of it is toasted
