A big champagne from the downtown creek, I know most people would chuck these but this one has a lot of bubbles and swirls, interesting enough for me to keep.

And then I finally found some silver that wasn't burnt, at the house site. This wasn't far from the buttons and other things that have been coming up, right near the treeline out front, probably where they would have parked their horses/cars. It was hidden under a rusted iron door hinge and so I'm glad that I dug it. I'm hoping to eventually find an earlier silver.

Nice nickel !!!!! Congrats !! I don't throw em , I put them in a box with my other "junk" and sell the box for $10

Thanks! Everything's very overgrown and so it's hard to get the coil right to the ground. It was a tough signal, once I saw the door hinge I thought that maybe the overall thickness of that was giving off the higher tone, good thing I rechecked the hole. And the darn thing is so small, even when I got it out of the ground I was having trouble finding it (don't have a pinpointer).

And yeah, the champagne is awesome, I personally don't have one this size or colour yet, so I'm gonna love it. I mean, it's over a century old, blown, full of bubbles and lines - what's not to like? The thing weighs a ton though, definitely my beefiest bottle so far.

Love the color on that bottle and the nickel is in great shape.
