A bit of old jewelry

On a hunt yesterday I found these two pieces. Two earrings maybe or two pieces of a bracelet. If you look closely enough you can see a yellow stone in one of the settings! I love the intricate design and you can still see what I guess is a little of the white enamel.

Hmm.. I wonder if the two pieces went together somehow to form a brooch? Neat looking, whatever it is.
