Hey all!

Got out for a few hours this morning to try a few sites. Spent a little over an hour total at the first couple sites, both were busts. First was the sidewalk strip outside a store from 1904. Second were the sidewalk strips outside a 1920s house.

Last place I went I revisited the site my brother and I went to on Thursday. We didn't get to quite cover it all because we ran out of light. Glad I went back! An hour and a half into the hunt, I was beginning to wonder if I'd even find a wheat. Then I popped a 1919-S Wheat. Then I found another.

Then I moved to the sidewalk strip and got an iffy signal 4 inches under some tree roots. Check out what I found down there!

I speed hunted for a while longer because I really needed to pee [emoji23]. I found 3 more wheats in the sidewalk strip.

Here are some photos of all my finds.

Can anyone tell me more about the button or the toy car? Button says NS Meyer New York on the back.

Thanks and happy hunting folks!

Washingtonian.... Hey, I know the feeling.. I'm 66, and when I got to go.... I got to go !!! That's why I love detecting in the woods... LOL

nice finds...

The car may be a Tootsie. (1936 Chrysler Airflow)
The button looks like a General Service blazer button.
Congrats on the War Nickle and wheats.

Hahaha yeah! Fewer options when hunting in the city.

Great investigative work! Looks spot on with the car.

Do you know if it's possible to date the button?
