I've only been doing this detecting thing for a little over a year... have a lot to learn and a lot of firsts to go... ;D

Today one more first is crossed off of the list. Despite having found half cents, to date no barbers have been fallen under my coil... until now! Found my first barber dime... a 1903. :hello2: Its a bit worn, but who cares - its mine! We were hunting a home that first had a house in 1902, that home burned in 1940 and was replaced in that same year on the same foundation. At least that is what is etched in the sidewalk!

Found a few more interesting relics... 4 wheaties (18, 44, 46, 49).. a small piece of jewelery (care to date it anyone???) and a cool lock. Perhaps I also found the key as I also found a broken end of a key but didn't take a picture of it.

And my son found what appears to be a plated spoon... still trying to confirm it though.

Anyhow- thanks for looking!
