a award? and a bird band ?

can anyone help id my finds I picked these up today in a field here the one with a sailing ship on it looks to be copper or brass maybe and seemed to be on a wide necklace or award of somesort I guess . and the second ring looking thing I thought was a band off of a bird something the size of a Canadian goose it has W.H. 18207 and then under the w.h. is '42 I've done some searching but cant make heads or tails of it . so any help would be apprc.,

I think the item with the ship on it may be a watch fob.. neat find

the ship thing isn't very thick at all it was pretty well folded in half at bottom of sails thanks for the info

it must have a back side to it but then again maybe not just seems thin lol.
