Hey folks!

Got the 2020 season kicked off today. No shiny but I think I found something even more fun, a 1921 Australian penny! No idea how this coin landed in Seattle. If only it could talk.

Other finds of interest include:
-A thimble
-A tax token
-14 wheats (all 40s/50s dates)
-A modern token
-A couple foreign coins

Not a bad few hours spent today. Thanks for looking and good luck out there!

A great 1921 Aussie cent. You might check PCGS to check value. If Aussie economy was like the US's, might be worth a lot.

It does make you wonder how some items get where they do. I dug an 1899 Canadian dime last year in a peanut field here in southwest Georgia.

Congrats on the nice hunt! :occasion14:

Thank you. Just a common date but I'm still super happy with it.

That is wild. Sometimes you can tell a coin must've come back a war time souvenir but often it's a complete mystery.
Congrats on the nice hunt! :occasion14:

Thanks so much PoE!

That's Aussie one I find a ton of foreign coins for some reason. Good way to start the year. Tommy

Good stuff. Wonder what the journey was that brought it to where you found it?

Always fun to find the unexpected. Congrats!
