As I'm not familiar with "V" rated, what machine will this coil work on and what does "V" mean?

'V' rated means the coil has been deep nulled for the V3i. This means it will work on the M-6, MXT, MXT-Pro, DFX, V3, and V3i.

I dont think this is going to work with the spectrum... 4wdguy you are correct on those machine ..This coil is the newest on the whites line of coils
