925 Silver from Mexico And it's supposed to be hunted out.

Hit the Fairgrounds today for the first time.I was told that it had been hunted to death.Only took a couple hours to find a nice silver ring.Found some clad,a Few old nickels(cant get a date)and part of what looks like it could be a hart locket.It still has a little gold plating left in one spot.Also a copper tag?Found another coin but could not identify,i have it soaking,will update if it cleans up.THANKS FOR LOOKING!

Congratulations on such a fine looking ring. No place is ever hunted out and at a
Fair Grounds, they get replenished every year. It just takes a little more detecting to find
the good stuff.

I love it when people tell me a place is hunted out. I detected a beach for years with my 1280x aquanaut. I then bought a fishers pulse 8x and have dug 10x the stuff I got with the 1280x. I am still digging tons of stuff from that same beach and probably will continue to do so for a few more years.
