marked .925 dl, it appears to have been gold-plated, gold is gone from most of it, and its been turned into ring slaw, I found 3 pieces, weight 5.61 grams.

btw, the biggest piece registered in bottle cap/zinc range, the others lower.

In an area of about an acre in this one little park i've found 2 gold rings - one a nice man's lion head which I'm wearing, 4 silver rings, 2 silver charms, 1 silver anklet, 2 silver/cz studs. I think the reason this little area is so productive is that this park has an open field with soft, thick, short turf that invites families and folks to play on it (and lose jewelry). It's not dedicated to a particular sport like soccer or baseball, there are no goals or sidelines or stands, so families, feel comfortable just playing on it, which they don't in other parks that only have dedicated playing fields with the nice soft grass. In south florida, the usual grass in picnic areas is either the very course st augustine grass, or bahia grass which grows in thick clumps. Neither one is inviting to play on, you really don't want to fall down in that stuff, its scratchy and makes you itch. Most parks only have the nice soft grass on the dedicated soccer or baseball fields, which people don't go out on, except for the teams who play and players at practice.
