Well, actually, .925 reasons to hunt. Went to the park today and just took a random direction...work out for me! 37.7 gms. Not damaged other than some scratches where it's been walked over...just under the surface.

Amazing that someone could loose something that big onto the surface of a park and not know it. GREAT recovery. HH, Beach Papa

Great find!

Great find. You gonna wear it?
nah...I gave up on chains a few years ago. I have a nice 10k Figaro that I haven't worn in years...probably destined for eBay or scrap bag.

it was clasped, so I'm sure they took it off before a ball game.

What machine are you using? What did it show up as?
Using an AT Pro. Didn't remember what it showed so I dropped it outside and got a 63...low...I have a .925 ear ring that hits a 73.

Thank you for the info, I always ask what something that I have not found rings in at, this place is an amazing learning tool!
no problem!

Nice grab guy ! maybe it's not the most beautiful chain in the world but it's close to 1.25 oz. of sterling silver - gotta like that .

It's funny...i had a town employee pull up while I was looking. We started talking and he remembered he left his keys at home as the plumber showed up (leak in the concession stand). He came back with his keys...and an OLD Silver King Nautilus! He bought it from Tyndall Electronics in Coats, NC. Cool piece of machinery. He let me play with it for a few minutes. I was sure he wanted to make him an offer on it!
