That play money actually looks pretty cool! Way better the most I have seen.

Thanks Rob.

I Love finding Play Money.

I'm sure the mintage should be pretty low
on the older ones.
at least the number of kids having them would be lower
then pennies

Loved "The Birds" in flight pix - great timing on that one!! I always think of that movie too whenever I see a tree of black birds. The sleepy ibis and spoonbills here in Florida just aren't creepy (they cover the trees at sunset.)

Realy Noisey Too

Jeff,

I notice you often find wheat pennies but no silver (so do I), even though dimes, quarters and half's that were in circulation during that same time were silver. Why is this?

The only thing I can think of is that someone already was there and cherry picked the silver.

What's you thoughts on that?

Paul

P.S looks like a beautiful spot.

this spot has given me a few silvers,
I Still think there is some there yet.

on cherry Picking, yes it was done alot in
the early days, but mostly Quarters & Roosies.
that's why Mercs and early
wheats outnumber Roosie and 50's wheats finds.

If you find alot of roosies & wash' Quarters
at a spot, It may not have been Hunted.

I Noticed something Else, the 2 oldest wheats
come up as Wheats.

the 41 Sounded like Brass
